Guide Communication II

October 25, 2010

I was going to write this as a very technical post about all the different kinds of communication that I and my mother have dealt with over the years, layed out in chronological order. Very tidy, very technical. It would have completely missed the point.

The point is that, I can see and feel a conduit of light over my head. The conduit is a part of me and also of the force it links me to. Through that conduit I can see and feel something that I call the Music from Beyond the World. Rolling waves of translucent light and music that live in the space between all systems of reality and thought. I can hear and feel the music all the time, but I can make the choice to hear it more clearly if I need to or if it needs to tell me something. It speaks to me in words and emotions, pictures and sensations. Quite often I just know, as if I have heard a subtle language of meaning, without words.

In the comments to my last post I referred you to my technical writing and video on communication and muscle testing. All of that is still accurate, but in this post I am going to refer you to another kind of experience. What happened in that parking lot was another kind of communication, and possibly a much better description of how it is usually experienced than anything I could write about muscle testing or the subtle states of the mind. On that day my guides were with me, though they were not the centre of the experience, they wanted me to learn and I did. I lived a set of experiences that altogether changed me and communicated with a depth that no words could have for me in any normal state.

The reason that this post is alive instead of being an operators manual is because my guides took me through an experience. My second paragraph was written almost without thought. The experience just flowed down through my hands, through the keys. It was like being awash in light and something new as well. I felt intense heat and warmth on top of my head, as if fingers of this light were reaching down through me. I could see this light coursing through me, but the warmth was in dollar sized patches on the surface of my head. The physical sensation is the least important thing to me, a side effect of something far more challenging, but I can still be surprised when this becomes so real, beyond the phantoms I could try to pretend weren’t there.

I hope this does justice to the questions and to the reality. I will answer any more specific questions as best I can, but this is the truest way I could answer in the abstract.

Video of Guided Intuitive Energy Work

November 20, 2009

The purchase of a new laptop has allowed me to record videos. This one is an example of guided intuitive energy work, which is a large part of what I practice. I am working more or less on myself in this case. There is no rote plan that I am following. This is a process of sensation and guided reaction. I am experiencing fields of colored light, pressure, and more complicated dimensions of meaning that are representative of my own being and its coexistence with other beings. The process is generally one of smoothing out, straightening, unwinding and releasing.

The motion of my head is the physical manifestation of my process of attunement with the Music from Beyond the World. Though it appears strenuous I have never hurt myself while allowing it to occur.

Intuitive energy work becomes much more when two or more people actively take part in the process. It becomes energetic communication, the opening, potentially, of the heart, mind, body and soul to one another. Most people are too locked into one thing or another to experience this, whether that is left brain rational thought, their physical existence or a defensive response designed to keep others at a distance.

Sense Ratios and Communication

September 17, 2009

Subjectively, about three fifths of what I experience is energetic reality, not physical. Quite often my energetic experience has nothing to do with my physical experience. They are divorced much of the time. My energetic experience at any given time can range from calm, open and untuned, to clearly focused on a highly complex scene that has nothing to do with my 3D physical situation. This can be difficult for others to understand. There is an innate desire to relate one experience to the other, but in my case this is usually counter productive. I’m usually seeing what is most important for me to see at any given moment. What is most important for me to see rarely has to do with my physical life, except in very superficial sense.

People are the primary area where energetic reality and physical reality come together for me. I can feel the energy of the Earth and sky and plants and so on, but it’s usually much less intense than that of humans beings. The energies of other people can be quite difficult for me to deal with. They can be overwhelming and I pick up on the negative more than the positive. Even positive energies can be uncomfortable and overwhelming because most humans never learn to control or direct the mental/emotional/physical energies they are radiating at all times. Beyond this, many parts of our selves act independently of ordinary conscious control, such as the energy body, archetypes, ego states, inner self, higher self and the soul. Quite often these parts of our selves are trying to manipulate and coerce us and those around us. This can also be highly uncomfrotable for me, particularly if the person’s conscious self isn’t involved in the manipulation at all. Being in a room with another person can be like being in a room with at least three or four people, all with different goals and agendas, no regard for personal boundaries and rarely any desire to communicate with each other. There’s no easy way to bring that up.

It bothers me a great deal that I can’t communicate with other humans energetically. Surface thoughts, the constant chatter of a mind not aware of its own working and nature, is a simplistic, error prone and deceptive way to communicate. Unfortunately that is the place from which most human communication seems to derive. More than that, surface thoughts are like blaring white noise. They blot out subtle communication. Over the last year I’ve learned to allow what I say to rise from within me with a minimum of surface thought. This is not automatic speech. I am simply allowing space within myself for my genuine perception to crystallize. Once the perception becomes clear the words come easily. Nothing more needs to be said. Saying anything more would hide genuine experience.

When space is allowed, true communication can occur. True communication isn’t a surface thought. It is what is felt and experienced. This is why most humans would rather die than have a genuine experience of communication with those around them. We live in fear of others.

Energetic communication isn’t anymore thought than kissing someone is the thought of kissing them.

Non-verbal Communication and Learning

August 2, 2009

Via Mac Tonnies’ Posthuman Blues.

This is utterly amazing if you’ve ever had the struggle of trying to get any number of people to quickly understand a concept and work together to manifest it.

This video also relates to a future post I hope to make. The means of communication demonstrated here has three properties which make it of great interest to me. The first is emergence. The audience didn’t need to be shown more than two positions and tones to understand the relationship to a potentially infinite series on either side of the original two. The second is that the medium of communication and action are one and the same. There is a single “language” which is both the means of communicating an action and of carrying it out. The third is that the system for understanding and using this kind of communication is latent within the majority of human beings. I would wager that most of the audience doesn’t know what the pentatonic scale is, yet they were able use it almost perfectly without previous conceptual understanding.

All three of these qualities are present in non-verbal energetic communication and energy work itself. The only major difference is that energy work takes place in a highly multi-dimensional space and relies even more on systems that almost all of us have but are even less aware of.

A Thousand Voices: II

May 13, 2009

From Mali and France in 2006, to Plaster Rock, New Brunswick around 2003. I was signed up for a home schooler’s class for teens that had never had the opportunity to use a high school chemistry or biology lab. My mother and I were going to be staying in residence at Atlantic Baptist University where the class was being held.

There were about 40 people in the course and the majority were from a Christian fundamentalist community in the area. By majority, I mean everyone but me. Atlantic Baptist University “reflects the values of Christian Higher Education” as their website says.

Our chemistry prof for this course was a piece of work. He tried to pass off protein folding and calcite’s double refractive properties as proof of the existence of the Judeo-Christian god. I found his reasoning lacking and disingenuous, to say the least. Generally speaking, he gave the impression of someone who does not make life more worth living. I kept my mouth shut. The other students were actually quite easy to work with. They were diligent and focused, but had very little academic background outside math, writing and bible study. I had loads of science background by this point, but found it difficult to pay attention to the plodding nature of the lab work. If we had any personal conflicts I don’t recall them. One girl was particularly impressed with my knowledge.

While I was doing the lab work my mother was usually free to talk to the other parents. In their conversations it came up that the parents of the other students also had issues with the chemistry prof. Part of the practice of this Christian community was, to paraphrase, training to sense and invite the presence of god, and whenever this prof walked into the room all of these people said they felt god leave.

To my great regret I didn’t hear this story until several years later, when both my life and my mother’s had become significantly more open to non-physical reality. I still wish I could talk to those people about their practices and what they experience. Would god leave the room for them if I walked in?

Because this is the first post where I’ve really said anything about Christianity I want clear up some impression I might have given. I tend to quote a lot of people who are very rough on Christianity as a whole. I don’t want to be rough on Christianity as a whole because, for starters, I don’t think I understand Christianity as a whole, or should I say the Christianities, as there are a plurality of forms. I do have issues with certain people who identify as Christian and with their practices. I will try to be frank when this is the case, but otherwise I don’t intend my quotations or comments to be insulting or derogatory.

Guides: Communication Basics I

April 17, 2009

Communication with guides is one of the most central aspects of my practice. It is also one of the most frustrating and potentially deceptive.

The relationship between accurate/precise information and the human being can be likened to that between light and crystal. The quality of the information is based on the clarity of the crystal and the purity of the light. To receive information you need to be clear of mental, emotional, physical and energetic distortion. This sounds exactly like what it means. Removing these distortions will consume several posts, but now I will just focus on one basic technique for safely tuning into and communicating with non-physical entities.

Before anything else you need to decide what force, being or entity you want tune into and communicate with. My two suggestions in this regard are 1. try talking to various aspects of yourself first, such as your autonomic nervous system, or inner self. This will help you start to self monitor what the various parts of your being think and feel. 2. Tune into what most workers call the Universal Healing Energy. The UHE is exactly what it sounds like, a universal force devoted to all energies of healing and the highest good of every being. For the left-brained: No, I don’t think there is actually a UHE, but if you tune into that concept it will put you in touch with the force or being most closely matching it that you are able to mesh with at this time. For the right-brained: just forget what I told the left-brainers and tune in that universal healing energy.

Once you have decided on what you are tuning into, it helps to carefully write down some of the questions you want to ask. For this technique stick to questions with a yes or no answer. Your intention to ask a question isn’t enough for most energy beings to understand, you need to actually word your questions to start. The words themselves aren’t important, but the coherent thoughts that they create are what energy beings can understand. Until you learn to think much more coherently than most ever will, you’ll need to word you questions.

Examples of questions:

Bad questions:
1. Where did I leave my car keys?

2. Will the Mets win tonight?

Good question:
1. Even though I think I’ve resolved it, am I still angry at my sister on some level?

2. Do I have any blocks in my energy systems? Are they in my energy body? Are they in the left arm of my energy body?

3. Is there anything that my soul wants me to know? (<– Specifically for UHE)

4. Did I make any agreements before incarnating in this life. (<– Specifically for UHE)

You need to be in an aware, yet clear and receptive state. Any personal need or desire will interfere with getting clear answers. Using whatever relaxation or meditative techniques you prefer to clear yourself beforehand is advised, particularly if you aren’t used to communication with energy beings. When you feel centered, say the following outloud “I know wish to communicate with (insert:my inner self, the UHE, etc.) and only (insert). I wish to ignore all deception and interference. I now wish to tune into and hold the signal of (insert).” As you say the last sentence begin to mentally reach out for the being that you want to contact and try to hold a connection with them. If you feel like you are forcing the connection something is probably wrong and you shouldn’t continue unless you are very confident of your energetic senses and abilities. Alternatively you may feel nothing, which is fairly normal and you should continue to the next step.

Place the thumb and middle finger of your right hand together to form a loop. Place this loop between your left thumb and middle finger and bring them together to form another loop linked to the first. At this point understand that if the answer to your question is “yes” that one of the loops will break when you try to pull them apart, and that if the answer to your question is “no” that the loops will not break when you try to pull them apart. You should now verbally ask a test question such as “Am I (insert your name)” and other simple things that you know the answer to already. The only way this can really go wrong is if you aren’t using your real name. Use the method described bellow to get answers to the questions. If these test questions work you can now verbally ask the first question that you have written down.

After asking the question, try to pull apart the loops you have made with your fingers and thumbs. Only use about the same amount of force to hold them together and pull them apart. If you are getting good answers it won’t take much force to get a positive and almost no amount of force will break a negative.

You are now ready to start figuring out how to make this work for you. Everyone is different and I suspect you will need to modify this technique slightly to get it to work for you.

I didn’t create this technique. I originally learned it from the energy medicine worker who I mentioned in my post on initiation. It is a variety of what is called “muscle testing” in energy medicine. I suspect a text on some of its uses could be tracked down through cross referencing those two terms.

Final pieces of advice: Never be too sure of who or what you are really talking to and never make deals. They never work out.
